Completely uselessNovember 10, 2008 Pillow Hunter This pillow is completely useless. I couldn't use it in neither home or in a plane trip. The support area for the neck is so thick that it creates pressure on your neck rather than relaxing the muscles. Due to the meaningless shape, it cannot be used as a regular pillow. Also, there is no way to hang it to the airplane seating or any seating for that matter.
very good but...November 2, 2008 Stacy S.(Connecticut) I like this a lot for when I'm at work and I watch movies (I work third shift)but its very stiff (for me that is) and in the middle it crickles and I tend not to like that. It does give me support but it could be better.

This pillow was too big and bulky to be useful on an airplane. I could see how it would be great used as a normal pillow.

awesome sleep solution for neck pain!October 13, 2008 2irishbabies I have chronic neck pain due to the curvature of my spine at the neck. Rather than my neck curving back slightly it curves almost forward. Long ago my chiropractor suggested rolling a thick towel and placing it under my neck for at least half an hour a day. I tried but the pain was almost unbearable, more so than my normal neck pain.
Several months later I stumbled across a dogbone neckbone pillow in Walmart. I was hesitant to try it for fear I would have the same pain that I had with the rolled towel but decided to give it a go. That pillow was the best investment ever for my pain! It gave my neck just the support I needed in order to relieve the pressure that my condition causes and allow my muscles to relax. I woke up feeling refreshed and stopped having the severe headaches that my neck pain was causing. I used that pillow for over 3 years before it wore out to the point of being thread-bare. Unfortunately I never replaced it and over the last 6 years my neck pain has become increasingly more severe again.
I am tired of waking up with sore neck muscles and severe headaches. I am ordering myself another dogbone TODAY! I can't believe I never looked on Amazon for them before!
