This is by far the best down comforter I have ever owned. It's well made and has held up to many washings. I have had virtually no feathers come out during the laundering. You cannot feel any feathers poking and this comforter is extremely soft and warm. I'm going to buy one for every bedroom in the house!

I've only been using the comforter for 2 weeks and worried about the feathers coming thru the fabric that some had reported but none have appeared. My hope was the comforter would be warm enough not to need another someting to keep me warm. We're having a very cool summer and I have a window open next to my bed with inside house temperatures in low 60s and I've been cozy warm with no pressure on my feet which has been a problem with previous double blankets. Since I keep house temps. in 60s during winter too I expect to be warm in winter too. We'll see. But so far great!

Instead of buying a comforter at the department store, I decided to buy a comforter on Amazon and cannot imagine shopping anywhere else for a comforter now. It is soft, warm, and now I want to get more in different colors!! I could not be more pleased.

I actually bought this item from Overstock. When I first received the product, I was happy with it. It felt so comfortable. However with everyday use, the feathers started to leak... when I make my bed - feathers fly around, not in the pillow fight kinda way, just several stray pieces here and there...I take my lint brush and brush feathers off every now and then (this is a bit annoying since it's an added maintenance - I didn't buy this to add to my cleaning routine!) I bought this product for summer usage as my other down comforter is too heavy for the Florida summer. At first I thought I received a defective one since other reviews were great. After receiving my replacement, I know it's the product's flaw. It's OK, but I'm definitely looking for something else to replace it or resort to putting my duvet cover over this.
I don't have any issue with the smell, I've washed the comforter many times with no issue of odor. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
