 Visually pleasing yet lacking in comfort March 9, 2010

I recently purchased this comforter for my son's room. My son (11mo) has not yet been transitioned to his big boy bed. My husband however has taken it upon himself to "try it out". He has slept in my son's room for several nights using this comforter. My husband loves the look of this comforter, and claims that it is really warm. There is however a down side the top of the comforter has two metal rings that are cold and bothersome when sleeping. He also claims that the twin is a bit small to snuggle for a grown man but may be sufficient for a child. I have taken a star away for the metal rings, if they bother my husband they will probably bother my son.
I have not yet tried to wash this so I cannot comment on this factor. I will update review once washed. If I had to do it again I would still buy this comforter, because I really love the look and the plush factor of the comforter. I will eventually cut of the metal rings off the comforter once my son starts sleeping in his big boy bed.

This is an excellent comforter. If anything its too warm. Its thick but soft, the only downside is that the queen size is friggin huge, good luck fitting that into your washer.

I bought 2 red conforter and all accesories, including sheet sets, for my two little boys.
It is wonderful, the quality lives up to the Tommy Hilfiger name. Unlike other reviews, I have washed it numerous time, and have had no problems.
I absolutely love it, love it, love it!!!!, and I am thinking about ordering 2 blue ones to rotate with the red!
