It works! October 9, 2008 S. Feazell (California) Good for value. Better quality than I expected with all these reviews. But its certainly not equivalent to the $300+ versions. I needed a Cali King and it's warm and gives good coverage. It works really well inside a nice duvet cover.
Pleased September 26, 2008 Frances Griffin I had put that i was disappointed with this balnket on my feedback.....and then i removed it. I really enjoy this blanket, it didnt look like the picture it wasnt as fluffy as the picture made it seem, but it is fluffy and very warm. i bought a duvet cover for it also and that helped.............all and all i am pleased with this blanket!!! plus it is great for thirty dollars!!!!!!
Great for the price July 25, 2008 Bobby Simer (Denver, CO) You can't really beat a queen sized comforter for 40 bucks. The only issue I have- the feathers poke out a little more than normal, but with a soft duvet cover you're golden. Bought it for my toddler and am extremely satisfied with the purchase. I don't expect it to last too long, but for now it certainly does the trick.
You get what you pay for July 22, 2008 Brandon Mcgrain (Rochester NY) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was not to picky about the comforter I picked, so I got this one. I just wanted another blanket on my bed. I got this one and was very happy with it... UNTIL I washed it. It smells like something died in my dryer. I cannot get the smell out of the blanket. It did not smell till I washed it. I have been airing it out for 4 days now, and it still smells like something dead!! YUCK!!!
Crunchy July 10, 2008 Jen (GA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my oversized king mattress. I was having a very hard time finding an oversized down comforter to cover my 15" mattress for an affordable price. The cover on the down is not very soft; luckily I have an incredibly soft duvet. So I wouldn't recommend using this comforter without a duvet cover. It did fit in the king Biltmore duvet I bought from Amazon perfectly. So I don't totally regret buying it.. But I'd prefer something nicer. Down comforters are not suppose to sound/feel crunchy. There is definitely quill feathers in it.. a lot.. and there shouldn't be. I bought a Cal-King size 108x98 and my duvet is 110x98. the fullness of the comforter is just right, it does fluff up well.
