Not a big fan... July 24, 2010 Med (PA USA) I've had this for over a year now - I have to say - it's not met up to the expectation I had.
From all indications, and I understand the limitations with the technology, the BMI indicator is completely useless if you're above average build.
The scale is extremely sensitive to the slightest gradient from a perfect horizontal, so readings vary considerably if I move the scale even a few inches.
I wish someone had told me these two things before purchasing.
Works as intended July 20, 2010 Brandon Rome (Gadsden, AL United States) I've had no problems with it. With that said, I don't like is pushing the buttons w/ my toes as it can be a bit tough, but that's probably due to a lack of coordination on my part more-so than the product design. Still, I with they were slightly larger / layed out different, because you don't use the middle, period, so why not expand them towards the bottom of the center "shelf"?
Outside of that, I've owned it for about a month and used it fairly consistently with no technical or physical mishaps. Worth the money.
Better than I expected July 10, 2010 Sara (USA) I'm a small girl and lift weights which means I need to know if the weight I'm gaining or staying at is muscle or fat. I know that muscle weighs more than fat so it's very important for me to maintain my BMI and fat %. I've always used a Tanita scale which only showed my BMI and not fat %. This scale blows Tanita out of the water and now I can monitor my fitness more closely than ever before. This scale is easy to use and even comes with a chart of what's normal weight for your height. My only complaint is it's a little thick and won't fit under my door like some small scales with less features.
Great product, but shorter than expected life. July 6, 2010 TPMMo I loved this scale for the 2 years I owned it, but the display went on it recently and I had to get rid of it since I couldn't read my weight. The weight readings were pretty accurate though.
Love it July 3, 2010 T. Scheel (CT) Reluctantly replaced almost 20 year old Tanita body fat monitor scale,, but this one is much better, even.
