This bedspread is a little heavy for my taste, but it well made, holds up under washing and really quite pretty on the bed. It would make a lovely gift to someone or to self.

The quilt is lovely and looks just like the picture. But, when I put it on our bed, it just didn't go with our decor. It looked more like what my grandmother would have had in her bedroom. The workmanship is great and it's a nice weight, but it just wasn't for us.

Our bed is a king size, and i have gone thru several ways to cover it... NONE of them felt right, they were too small and hard to make-up. I finally decided to go to amazon and search "OVERSIZED KING SPREADS" and this one popped up. It s my favorite, EVER.

I am so pleased with this beautiful "heirloom-quality" stippled bedspread. It is a pleasant cream color with rose/mauves and sage/olive greens, edged in a burgundy mini-print. I bought the queen size for a thick queen pillow-top mattress. Fits perfectly. Drapes the sides and foot of the bed just as the picture shows. Shams that match can be purchased separately, but it is long enough to fold over the pillows so that shams aren't necessary. I just threw some decorative pillows on the bed to dress it up. A great purchase, free shipping, and Amazon always has fast service. I found this exact bedspread in a dept. store for about $30 more. They also had it in a "quilt" which is smaller, but shams would be needed for it. This feels like good quality, and perfect for all seasons.
