Very comfy bed February 10, 2010

I bought this fiberbed back in 2006. I had just bought a new bed, which was very comfortable and wanted to make it even more plush by getting a some sort of topper. Prior to this I had never slept on a feather/fiber bed, so I settled on this fiberbed because of the price; I figured if I didn't like it or it was overkill on the new matress I wouldn't have wasted too much money. Needless to say, it was a great investment. I am still using the fiberbed till this day. Only now am I beginning to think about getting a replacement.
This fiberbed has made my bed extremely comfortable. And that's not just my opinion...Whenever I have guests over, I give them my bed and take the couch. Every one who has ever slept on my bed (parents, family, friends) has raved about it. People who normally don't sleep past 8 or 9, have slept in. Now, it may be that I just have an excellent mattress, but I can't help but to think that the fiberbed is the icing on the cake, making the bed that much more comfortable.

I hated this product. I thought it looked so comfortable, it wasn't. I think a lot of it is the filling. Amazon ships it stuffed ina a little box, and when you pull it out it is clumpy. It a year, that never went away. We tries turning it, beating the stuffing flat, haveing it professionally cleaned and fuffed. Nothing made it right. We threw it away and went with something more foamy.

I love it, can't sleep without it. It can slide with out a mattress pad, but if you change your sheets at least once a week, there are no problems.

Like another reviewer, I bought this for $20. I figured if it didn't work well, the dogs would get it. I had the worst night's sleep of my life. There are four "compartments." It's just like another reviewer wrote. If you put it on the bed correctly, there are tunnels between the baffling compartments. If you switch the position, all you do is shift the tunnels. When I slept on this, I woke up in the middle of the night because there was no support. I tried stuffing the tunnels, and that didn't work. Are we all receiving the same item? How can so many reviewers find it heavenly, and so many other reviewers find it at a level below purgatory? I'm truly perplexed.

Unbelieveable....I have spent thousands of dollars trying to find the right "feel" for my tired aching muscles and back. Finally I tried this fiberbed and it is by far the best night of sleep I have had in 10 years. Of course I recently lost 125 lbs .......and I hope she is happy with her new lover. That might have helped!
Try it....you'll like it!
