My wife had wanted satin sheets for a while. I found these, thought they looked like a great deal, and purchased a set. When they arrived, I was a little worried. They seemed stiff and not very smooth. I would have returned them if it weren't for the fact that I'd read a previous review saying that they softened up after washing - so I gave it a try.
They were much better after washing. I'm not a big fan of synthetic materials, but these sheets feel silky smooth and my wife loves them. We ordered 2 more sets in different colors. Just wish I could get a twin sheet set for my kids for the same price...
They're not exactly silk - but can't be beat for the price.

I received the sheets alittle over a month ago. The satin sheen actually came off somehow on a part of which I had slept on. Obviously I will be returning item.

They fit the bed, they do all those other things you might expect a sheet to do, and they really are as silky smooth as indicated... on one side. The visible side of the top sheet is satin, while the underside, the one that actually has anything to do with your comfort, is kind of raspy by comparison. In practice, it isn't actually uncomfortable, and the top of the fitted sheet is still silky, but it was a somewhat jarring and disappointing revelation.
They're kind of sticky when they first come out of the package, so be absolutely sure to wash them first to get that extra dye out. The weird Halloween mask smell won't come out until at least the second wash, though.

I'm very pleasantly suprised by the quality of the product for the price!! They fit my bed perfectly and I haven't had a problem with them sliding off of the bed like a lot of satin sheets do. I was reading through other reviews and I'm under the impression that some people do not understand what satin truly is..it's NOT silk, people so it's going to have a different feel to them! I have paid outrageous prices for satin sheets that weren't as good as these are! I really hope people will consider buying these because they are good quality for the price and I hope people take to heart that a cheap price doesn't necessarily mean a cheap product. I have had no problems with coarseness or staining as some previous reviewers had reported. I can't complain! i love them and I plan on buying a set in every color!!
