very happy with the softness of this item. It definatly fits the bill for an inexpensive feather bed item for my kids. The back has some sort of plastic on it that will help protect their new mattresses.

I have been looking for a mattress pad for 2 years and found in Pike Street exactly what I wanted. With a 15 year old mattress I was in dire need of something other than an expensive new mattress.
The pad came marvelously packaged and in perfect condition. The day it arrived I immediately washed it exactly as recommended and it laundered without a hitch.. It is quite large but it fit into my large capacity washer, albeit just barely. The microplush material is exquisite and it feels so plush and comfortable on the bed. When I slept on it that night, let me just say, it was a struggle to get out of bed in the morning.
This pad is a huge bargain and I highly recommend it for a new or older mattress. You won't be sorry!!

The pad was delivered quickly and on time, with good packaging. It is very comfortable to sleep on. It is pretty soft, making my bed much much more better! The size is very standard, just fits my twin bed. In a word, it is what I was looking for and I love it!

We ordered this mattress topper based on its excellent price combined with all the really great reviews here, and I have to say we are NOT disappointed. We've had it on our bed for a month now, and enjoy the new comfyness it provides every night... Mmmm.
And by the way, as others have mentioned, it feels more like a pillow top than a plain mattress topper.
Note: We went ahead and bought it in spite of the warnings from several reviewers that the seams would bunch up, but guess what? We haven't had ANY problem with that... Lovely product, and I plan to buy another one for some people on my yuletide gift list!
